Hii everybody, this is Anmol Nigam, a happy go lucky person , a person who celebrates every moment of her life and shares the ecstasy of that moment with others too. I am a person with the pool of questions in my mind and always feel keen to learn facts about life. I share a special corner with the world of technology in my hear, the reason for my existence in the stream of computer science and when we talk about technology we cannot miss to mention our memories with Microsoft. In this way I also have a sweet story to narrate about my experiences with Microsoft.
HOW MICROSOFT HAS IMPACTED MY LIFE .....
My childhood inquisitiveness was to dig out the secret of the person who made this amazing toy of computer and the treasure of captivating elements that lies within it. I can never forget when we got computer at our home ten years back, and the sole attraction was towards Paint. Yes this is true, in fact it would be true for all of us when simply using those brushes on the wall of Paint software and experimenting it with it’s different sizes was used to be a fun. I still remember when i used to compete with my friends in making the perfect shape using pencil, brush with the background of different colors on Paint.
Well, this was just a trailer of what one could do with startling Microsoft, what was approaching was a treasure of wonders. When I grew up and my school assignments started to reach its difficulty level, I found my buddy in Microsoft. The tools of Microsoft ranging from Excel, Word, Access, Outlook were my true supporter and they had become basic need of all of us, be it a school student, or office going employee, this has become the nerves of the entire system of working today. And maybe that’s why these tools of Microsoft are already feed into every computer.
I do all my assignments on Microsoft word which allow me to conveniently work on them, keep it saved, offer me the liberty of making corrections and adorn it with beautiful fonts, style. In fact it is a true friend, it makes correction in grammar, punctuation marks and convert my stuff into fine piece.
And yes while discussing my childhood memories with Microsoft, I missed to mention those memories with Microsoft Power Point, which used to amaze me in my childhood and today it has become vital, be it for presentation in colleges or for office work. I loved to play with attractive slides and trying my hands on adding effects, animation and in fact sounds too, it was total fun. And now that technology aids me in demonstrating my assignments in more active communicating system with text and visuals along with its catchy slides and effects.
Gradually with time as I grew, our very own Microsoft is also moving up on the ladder of progress and innovation. In its journey from Microsoft DOS to Windows 8.1, it has made the world as an ocean of comfort for all of us. Windows 8.1 is so advanced than its previous version of OS such that it adds more options to the Settings app in the tiled interface, so that you are less likely to have to go to the full Control Panel to make a particular change.Coming back to Microsoft office, how can i miss our Microsoft Picture Manager and i must confess that it is amazing. I can edit my photos without downloading any special software of editing and can also link it to any social networking sites and share it with my friends as well . And how can i one forget to share my first experience of using the M.S SQL SERVER 2008 to design the back-end of my first desktop application .From the database to data warehousing , SQL SERVER 2008 has provided me a vast number of capabilities and features that has left me dumbstruck .
And now it has also added more ease to my life with its compatibility with smart phones, through which I can access all my assignments, data and make corrections to it from anywhere without carrying that huge box of computer or laptop. Windows Phones have helped me in capturing stunning pictures with the help of their exceptional sensors installed in the phone, Nokia Lumia 925 is a great example which now comes with Microsoft Office which allows me to create, edit and share documents on the move. All these software suits provided by Microsoft because of their inevitable presence in my life have attached me with the string of immense love with them.
The arrival of Skype has completely turned our world, I can contact with my overseas relatives with proper video calling without paying on ISD charges. The moment I saw my nephew on Skype and observed his tiny hands and innocent smile was the moment which can never get erase from the RAM of my brain. I thanks Skype for making our life so easy, especially in the world of globalization where people are migrating across the globe and get departed from the dear ones, this technology has shorten those long distances.
May be words will fall short, but the cherished memories with Microsoft will remain infinite. It has become integral part of everyone’s life. The profession I chose is perfect testimonial to my passion and determination towards the stream of computer science and when we talk about computer science we cannot alienate ourselves with the father of this stream, the Microsoft.
